The Auld Kirk B&B, 31 Braemar Road, Ballater, AB35 5RQ.
Set in the heart of Royal Deeside, within the Cairngorms National Park, The Auld Kirk
is a fine example of an early Victorian Scottish Free Church building. It has been
beautifully renovated to provide comfortable accommodation in 7 well-appointed guest
bedrooms, with a mix of twin and double and family rooms, all with en-suite facilities,
WiFi and complimentary beverages and toiletries. A hearty breakfast is served each
morning and packed lunches can be ordered. The Auld Kirk also serves afternoon tea to
both residents and non-residents. This is a decadent delight and everything is lovingly
hand made by owner Helen. Sweet and savoury courses are combined with Helen's renowned
