Finchwood, Boat of Garten. In the heart of the Highlands and the Cairngorm National Park is the pretty village of Boat of Garten. Finchwood is a spacious and unique property in a quiet location in the village providing highly appointed accommodation for families and larger parties. Boat of Garten is conveniently located just 5 miles from Aviemore and has a station on the Strathspey Steam Railway. You'll find plenty to see and do in the area and all local amenities in the village including a golf and tennis club and RSPB Reserve. Finchwood comprises a fully fitted dining kitchen, a separate sitting room, one double bedroom with en suite bathroom (this room can take an additional single bed on request), a second double bedroom, two twin bedrooms, a family bathroom, a shower room and a second sitting/games room. Lagganlia Outdoor Centre, Kincraig, Kingussie, PH21 1NG. Located in The Cairngorms National Park close to Aviemore and Kingussie, Lagganlia Outdoor Centre features a range of self catering accommodation from lodges with hot tubs to woodland camping pods. Ideal for families and larger groups, our chalet-style cabins sit in expansive forest grounds, set against a mountain backdrop and overlooking the River Feshie. Ptarmigan and Anderson are small to medium group/family lodges with a homely highland feel and have hot tubs.
