• Claypotts Castle An outstanding example of 16th-century Scottish architecture, which is both intact and little altered. Off the A92 E of Dundee at Claypotts Junction.
• Corrie Fee NNR Located in the south of the Cairngorms National Park, this reserve was sculpted thousands of years ago by ice which left behind corries, cliffs, moraines and a meandering river. B955 from Kirriemuir and park at Forestry Commission's Glen Doll car park.

• RSPB Loch of Kinnordy Situated in a natural basin surrounded by farmland, Loch of Kinnordy attracts all types of wildlife including osprey, whooper swans, geese and black-headed gulls plus otters, red squirrels, deer and more.
