Muckrach Castle, Grantown on Spey. Standing proudly within its own grounds overlooking the River Dulnain, Muckrach Castle offers a unique self-catering experience. Located just 4 miles from Grantown-on-Spey this splendid rural retreat provides outstanding views over the Spey Valley and the Cairngorm Mountains. Dating back to 1583, this fully restored sixteenth-century castle is arranged over 4 floors and two tower rooms, accessible by spiral stone stairs.
