At the centre of the charming village of Bowmore on the beautiful Hebridean
island of Islay, Distillery Cottages are located in, or adjacent to, the Bowmore Distillery
complex. Comprising 7 unique properties, the beautifully appointed accommodation includes
a cottage just for two, one with 6 bedrooms sleeping up to 14 guests, plus a range of
others in between suitable for all sizes of group. Facilities include fitted kitchens
will all modern appliances, dining rooms or dining areas, comfortable sitting rooms,
generously sized bedrooms, some with en-suite bath or shower rooms, and magnificent views
over Loch Indaal. Visitors can take a tour of the distillery free of charge and will
find a complementary bottle of 12 year old Bowmore in their cottage on arrival. Open

Distillery Cottages
Springbank House, Near Bridgend, Isle
of Islay. Almost in the centre of the island, just outside the village of Bridgend and
only three miles from the 'town' of Bowmore, is Springbank. This imposing and substantial
farmhouse of whitewashed stone stands in two acres of its own grounds with wonderful
views to Loch Indaal. It is comfortable, spacious and very well appointed and comprises
a modern, well-equipped dining kitchen with free standing units, a cosy sitting room
with a lovely open fire, four bedrooms - two doubles, a twin and a room with bunk-beds
- a large family bathroom with separate
shower, an additional downstairs WC and a utility room. Outside, the house is sheltered
on two sides by mature woodland and there is also a raised lawn featuring an original
buoy, that forms an ideal play area for children. Available all year. From £595
per week including all linens, the first £15 of electricity and £20 of heating oil plus
