Welcome to Pier View, our seafront flat in central Helensburgh. In an enviable location at the heart of the town and facing the pier, guests will find local amenities readily accessible. Shops, a wide choice of restaurants, tearooms, the main line railway station (providing trains to Glasgow every 30 minutes), and swimming pool are all close by. Helensburgh Pier, opposite the flat, provides a passenger ferry service to Kilchreggan and Gourock and Glasgow International Airport is only 40 minutes from here. Edinburgh and Prestwick are approximately 2 hours away by car.

Pier View is ideally placed for Loch Lomond and the new National Park; for a wide selection of golf courses; National Trust for Scotland's "The Hill House" by Charles Rennie Mackintosh; and the Faslane Naval Base.

Pier View overlooks Helensburgh seafront and enjoys a panoramic view of the Clyde providing an excellent vantage point from which to while away an hour or two just watching the world go by! Potential guests should, however, note that, although all the accommodation is on one level, Pier View is a first floor flat accessible only by an external stairway and as such may be unsuitable for some visitors with mobility difficulties.

The accommodation is spacious, sleeps up to 6 guests and comprises a fully fitted kitchen/dining room, a large lounge with 3 piece suite and additional double bed settee, two bedrooms, one a family room with a double and a single bed, the other a double, a well equipped office space with BT broadband and telephone and a family bathroom. The property is centrally heated throughout. Pier View is available all year from 3pm on day of arrival to 11am on day of departure.

Unrestricted free parking is available in streets to the north of the West Kirk just along Colquhoun Street from the flat and on the seaward side of Helensburgh Swimming Pool. Metered parking is also available.

Please also note that Pier View is completely non-smoking and we are sorry but we cannot accept pets.

Tariff: Rates are negotiable dependent on dates, party size, length of stay and for return visits. As a guide, weekly rates range from £210-£350 and short breaks (minimum 2 nights) from £35 per night. A £50 deposit is required on booking.
