Drum CastleThe oldest intact building in the care of the National Trust for Scotland, Drum Castle was, from 1323 to 1975, the home of the Irvine Family. It stands at the entrance to Royal Deeside on a ridge overlooking the River Dee 10 miles from the heart of Aberdeen.
