Undiscovered Scotland Free Wallpaper Collections

Welcome to the Undiscovered Scotland wallpaper collections. From this page you can link to our collections of images freely available for personal and non-commercial use in unedited form as wallpapers or desktop backgrounds.

Following an update for 2010, four of our collections now contain wallpapers sized at 1920x1200, 1280x1024, and 1024x768 pixels (Collections 1, 2, 3 and 4). Four more collections contain wallpapers sized at both 1280x1024 and 1024x768 pixels (Collections 5, 6, 7 and 8). The remaining five collections contain 1024x768 wallpapers only (Collections 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13). See the note about screen sizes further down this page.

Screen Sizes: Our 2010 update made available for the first time a significant number of images sized at 1920x1200, while continuing to make available wallpapers sized at 1280x1024 and 1024x768.

This reflects the changes in screen sizes our visitors are using, and in particular an increasing trend towards the use of larger screens. Any views on our approach to the provision of wallpapers for as wide a user base as possible would be welcome. Please e-mail us with your views.
