 Pub Sign |
|
There has been a pub on this site for many years (it was previously
known as Valentines and as The Covenanters) but The Royal McGregor you see
today emerged from a renovation and redesign in April 2001. The name derives
from the MacGregor clan, believed to be descended from Grigor, one of the sons
of Kenneth MacAlpin, who
became King of the Scots in 843.
