wild Atlantic Ocean, Cottage@Mackay's is a stylish, newly built three bedroom
house. This well appointed property is decorated in hill and heather tones,
with sumptuous fabrics throughout. It comprises a spacious fully equipped
kitchen/dining room open plan to a lounge with oversized chairs, multi-fuel
stove and patio doors onto a deck, a utility room, one ground floor double
bedroom and large shower room, two upper floor bedrooms - a large, comfortable
master bedroom and a smaller twin room - and a bathroom with oversized bath.
Under heated stone and oak floors feature throughout. Open all year. Rates from
£600 per week including a bottle of sparkling wine on arrival, all bed
linen and towels, complementary toiletries, electricity and a full log basket

The Lazy Crofter Bunkhouse, Durness, IV27 4PN. The Lazy
Crofter is a small hostel, traditional yet modern with a cosy and informal
atmosphere. We offer quality self-catering accommodation suitable for groups,
families and individuals and a warm Highland welcome. The purpose-built
premises have been designed to sleep 20, in a mix of shared dorms and small two
man bunk-rooms. The price is the same for everyone and guest facilities include
a modern fully equipped self-catering kitchen, a comfortable living room, a
drying room equipped with American-style washing machine, full central heating
and piping hot showers. The bedrooms are warm, bright and airy with all linen
provided free of charge and all beds made up ready for your arrival. The
Bunkhouse enjoys wonderful views over the North Atlantic Ocean and is close to
local amenities including the village store and Post Office, pubs and
