STB 4 B&B. The former Boatman's Cottage, Ferryman's Cottage, in the tiny
picturesque hamlet of Port-Na-Craig where it nestles on the riverbank, was
built some 250 years ago to serve the locals and cattle crossing the River
Tummel. Now a cosy home, this charming cottage is the only B&B on the
Pitlochry Festival Theatre side of the river, yet it is only a few minutes walk
into Pitlochry town. With plenty to do in the local area that is suitable for
all ages, including a super season at the Theatre beginning in May,
you'll find magnificent walks, fishing, golfing, distilleries, shopping in the
pretty town of Pitlochry itself, or just enjoying the beautiful local scenery.
