• Ardchattan Priory The ruins of a Valliscaulian priory founded in 1230 and later converted to secular use. On Loch Etive, 6.5m NE of Oban off the A828.

• Ardmaddy Castle Garden Ardmaddy rises above its formal walled garden on one side with outstanding views of the Islands on the other. Visitors approach the garden by an old arched footbridge over a burn finding its final path to the sea. By Oban, Argyll PA34 4QY.

• Glen Nant NNR The slopes of Glen Nant are cloaked in a rich mixed woodland. Many trees were felled from 1753 -1880 to supply charcoal to the nearby Bonawe Iron Furnace. Three miles southeast of Taynuilt, off the B845.
