Curlew and Puffin Cottages, Johnshaven, Nr Montrose. Curlew and Puffin are both former fisherman's cottages, charming properties which have seen recent refurbishment to provide a high standard of guest accommodation. Curlew sleeps up to five guests and retains many original features, including exposed beams and the original staircase. Public rooms include a fully fitted kitchen, cosy lounge and separate dining room. There are two double bedrooms and a bathroom at first floor level. Puffin also sleeps five and overlooks the beach at Johnshaven.
