Dunchraigaig House, Kilmartin Glen, PA31 8RG. The beautiful and mystical Kilmartin Glen is full of history: standing stones, cairns and stone circles are all around. Dunchraigaig House sits in its midst enjoying views of the Ballymeanoch Stones. The five comfortable guest rooms are fully ensuite and equipped with TVs, hairdryers and refreshment trays. The Horseshoe Inn, Kilmichael Glassary, Lochgilphead, PA31 8QA. Good Beer Guide 2007. On the A816 to Oban, three miles north of Lochgilphead and in the historic Kilmartin Glen, is The Horseshoe Inn. The Inn serves good food and real ales. The non-smoking dining room offers a varied menu and the portions are generous. Children and pets are welcome. The Inn is the ideal base for those wishing to explore the surrounding area and accommodation is available here. Guest rooms are comfortable, have en-suites and complementary tea and coffee making facilities. The Horseshoe Inn also has a self catering flat which can be booked by the week or on a nightly basis. Room rates are £25 per person per night on a room only basis: breakfast is available at a small additional charge. Children under 5 stay free and 5-14s at half rate.
