Trust The Trust manages both the Culag Woods, located south of the harbour

Caves, tunnels and underground streams are highlights of this reserve. Twenty
miles north of Ullapool, off the A837 road.
- Kerrachar Gardens
Kerrachar Gardens is a plantsman's garden in the North West Highlands of
Scotland set in a uniquely remote and beautiful location in the Parish of
Assynt on the shores of Loch a Chairn Bhain. Near Kylesku.
- Knockan Crag NNR
This is one of the top Earth science sites in Scotland. It's recognised
worldwide as the place where scientists first discovered a basic principles of
geology. Thirteen miles north of Ullapool, off the A835 road.

a Mhuilinn NNR The most northern remnant of native oak woodland in
Britain survives on this reserve. The stunting effects of westerly gales are
clearly visible with some of the oaks reduced to a creeping form near the sea.
