Grennan Mill Cottage, set in 25 acres of grounds, was converted about 60 years ago from original stone farm buildings used by the local miller and his family. It is now furnished in the style of a traditional country cottage whilst meeting all modern standards. The river Garpel (reputedly frequented by the poet Robert Burns) runs nearby and provides good trout fishing. The accommodation, for up to 4 guests, is all on the ground floor and comprises a fitted kitchen with a large walk-in larder/pantry, a sitting room with a multi-fuel stove and dining area, one double bedroom (off the sitting room), one twin-bedded room and a family bathroom with a shower over the bath.
