Inside, the kitchen, sitting room and bathroom are downstairs, with a spacious double and a twin bed room upstairs. Outside each front door is a private, enclosed, south facing garden, with very comfy chairs and garden furniture! The cottages come highly appointed with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Internet access is included and meals can be delivered too. The views from here are wonderful, stretching across the Tweed Valley to the Cheviot Hills in Northumberland. Hendersyde is in an ideal position to enjoy walks across the farm and by the waterside, or to explore both sides of the border. The hills and coast are within half an hour, Edinburgh is an hour away. Lime Tree Cottage, Near Kelso. Lime Tree Cottage has a lovely open situation on a tree-lined drive, just three miles north of the pretty Border town of Kelso. Sublimely comfortable and most beautifully appointed, its enclosed garden and quiet location make it ideal for families and couples alike. It has also been discreetly adapted to make it wheelchair friendly and particularly suitable for visitors of limited mobility. The kitchen has pull out work surfaces and appliances and there is an intercom system in the sitting room which opens the front door. Lime Tree Cottage sleeps up to 4 guests, having one double bedroom with en-suite bath/shower room and a further twin room. Plum Braes Barn is a conversion into three charming cottages: Plum Tree Cottage a romantic cottage for 2; and Garden Bank and Cockle Kitty, each for 4. Also available is the larger Edmonston Farm House. Plum Tree Cottage is at first floor level and has an open plan living area and a gallery bedroom accessed by a spiral staircase which has a king-size sleigh bed and a small balcony. The two larger cottages are at ground floor level. Garden Bank has two en-suite bedrooms, one a double, the other a twin. Cockle Kitty has an enormous lounge, double and twin bedrooms and a family bathroom. The cottages come highly appointed and have ample parking. Edmonston is a detached chalet-style farmhouse.
