Ideally situated for touring, we are a small working farm with a fine selection of friendly animals all of which wander freely. Guest accommodation comprises two well appointed en-suite bedrooms, one a double, the other a twin. Both have tea and coffee making facilities, satellite TV and their own separate entrances making them private from the rest of the house. Walkers and cyclists welcome. We have a laundry, drying room, a cycle store, offer mountain bike hire and a pre-booked pick up service for walkers. Our B&B caters for adults only and regretfully we can't accept pets. Invergarry is a village steeped in history and lies at the east end of Glengarry. Local services include a hotel, post office, petrol station/shop, café and visitor centre. An abundance of wild life exists in and around Invergarry and Glengarry forest, with a good selection of well defined walks, taking in waterfalls and the River Garry, is just 10 minutes walk from the farm. View of Birch CottageBirch Cottage, Strathnairn. This highland hide-away is only nine miles from Inverness, yet off the beaten track in the stunningly scenic Strathnairn glen east of Loch Ness. Relax and unwind in our garden or conservatory, where you will be served the breakfast of your choice. Maybe a grand, full Scottish fry up, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, a smoothie with croissants and rolls or a vegetarian option. We try to keep our carbon footprint low by sourcing local produce. Our rooms - 1 double and 1 twin - are spacious and bright with stunning views over the local countryside. You will have a luxurious steam cabinet/shower in the guest bathroom and both bedrooms have central heating, TV, hairdryer and hospitality tray. We are gay friendly. Three course dinners may be booked in advance (bring your own wine). Packed lunches on request. View of Craigard Guest HouseCraigard Guest House, Invergarry, PH35 4HG. On the western outskirts of the village of Invergarry, Craigard Guest House is located in the heart of the Highlands. This is the perfect base for a varied holiday, for a range of activities and for touring. This Victorian country house was built in 1840 and still retains many of its original features. Originally built as a farmhouse it was extended in around 1860 to its present size. Most rooms have retained the original windows and some still have working wooden shutters. Five of our rooms are en-suite and all have a TV. Breakfast is served in the elegant dining room and evening meals are available by arrangement. Craigard also has a drying room and provides secure storage for bicycles. Open all year. B&B S £27.50-£30, D/T £25-£30. All rates are per person per night. View of Drynachan BeagDrynachan Beag Bed and Breakfast, Invergarry, PH35 4HL. Drynachan Beag is a newly constructed bungalow. The site has an interesting history and owner Caroline Francis has a wealth of local knowledge. Accommodation is in a choice of comfortable double room with en-suite shower room, an additional large double room with en-suite bath and shower (June to September only), a twin room and a single room. Each room has a TV and hospitality tray. Guests are also welcome to use the large sitting/dining room which has a TV and DVD player. Drying facilities and secure storage for cycles and motorcycles are available. A light evening meal of home made soup, sandwiches, home baking and tea or coffee can be served by prior arrangement. From October to April a 3 course evening dinner is also available. Open all year. B&B S £23-£25, D/T £21-£28. Children 8 and over welcome. A 3 course evening meal is £15 per person. Set in 12 acres of woodland on the bank of the River Glass only 1 mile from Glen Affric, Kerrow House offers bed and breakfast accommodation plus a range of highly appointed self catering properties. Bed and breakfast is available in the main house in one of three elegant en-suite rooms. One of these, the Grand Room, has a four poster bed, another is ideal for a family.
