Invergarry is a village steeped in history and lies at the east end of Glengarry. Local services include a hotel, post office, petrol station/shop, café and visitor centre. An abundance of wild life exists in and around Invergarry and Glengarry forest, with a good selection of well defined walks, taking in waterfalls and the River Garry, is just 10 minutes walk from the farm. This is the perfect base for a varied holiday, for a range of activities and for touring. This Victorian country house was built in 1840 and still retains many of its original features. Originally built as a farmhouse it was extended in around 1860 to its present size. Most rooms have retained the original windows and some still have working wooden shutters.
