River Nith Blackaddie House Hotel and Nith Riverside Cottages is a family run
business offering comfortable accommodation, excellent facilities, friendly

Each of the 9 distinctive
en-suite hotel bedrooms comes well appointed and with lovely views.
Complimentary mineral water, homemade shortbread and Scottish tablet, remote
control flat screen TVs, tea and coffee making facilities and direct dial
telephones come as standard. We also have 3 self catering cottages adjacent to
the hotel offering fantastic space, the same great views and absolute quiet.
They have fully fitted kitchens, large lounges, either one or two bedrooms that
can be made up either as doubles or twins and bathrooms with showers over. The
restaurant menu changes daily and we use only the freshest produce. Join us for

Jarbruck Lodge, Near Dumfries. Originally the paymaster's
house for a large estate, Jarbruck Lodge is a traditional Victorian detached
house which has been beautifully restored to the highest standards. It stands
in its own gardens just off a quiet country road near the conservation village
of Moniaive. Forest tracks lead into the hills behind the house and there is
wonderful countryside all around. The accommodation is traditional in style and
comprises a cosy kitchen/dining room with wood burning stove, a sitting room
with open fire, a lounge, also with open fire, one double bedroom, one twin
room, a third room with a double and a single bed, a family bathroom and a
second, ground floor, shower room. Outside is a pretty garden with flag stoned
patio. From £395-£695 per week including all bed linen, towels,
heating and electricity. A starter basket of logs will be provided in the
