Burnmouth Cottage, Near Kirriemuir. 30 miles north of
Dundee, Burnmouth Cottage stands at the entrance to a private country estate
extending to some 6000 acres. This charming stone property is one of the few
small cottages, plus church, that make up the tiny hamlet of Glenprosen. Having
seen recent sensitive renovation, Burnmouth Cottage offers cosy accommodation
for up to 4 guests in two en-suite bedrooms, one a double the other a twin. The
living space is open plan. The sitting/dining room has a multi-fuel stove and
the adjacent kitchen area comes fully equipped and has laundry facilities. A
burn rushes down by the side of the cottage to join the River Prosen just yards
from the property. Trout fishing is available along a 3 mile stretch. There is
also great walking on the estate and plenty to see and do within a short drive
from here. Open all year. Rates from £325-£495 per week. Bed linen
is included and towels can be hired. One dog is welcome but must be kept on a
