Muir of Dinnet
NNR Muir of Dinnet is a mosaic of reedbeds, woodland, bogs and heath with
Lochs Davan and Kinord at its centre. The Burn O' Vat Visitor Centre is
signposted the A93 and the B9119.

Ring of Lumphanan This great earthwork of 13th-century date was the site of
a fortified residence, perhaps a hunting lodge of the Durward family. 0.5m SW
of Lumphanan off the A980.

Marys Kirk, Auchindoir One of the finest medieval parish churches in
Scotland, roofless, but otherwise entire. Off the A944 between villages of
Rhynie and Lumsden on the B9002.
Tomnaverie
Stone Circle A recumbent stone circle about 4000 years old. Near Mill of
Wester Coull, about 3m NW of Aboyne on the B9094.
