NNR Muir of Dinnet is a mosaic of reedbeds, woodland, bogs and heath with
Lochs Davan and Kinord at its centre. The Burn O' Vat Visitor Centre is
signposted the A93 and the B9119.

Lumphanan This great earthwork of 13th-century date was the site of a
fortified residence, perhaps a hunting lodge of the Durward family. 0.5m SW of
Lumphanan off the A980.
