Rickla, Harray,
Orkney, KW17 2JT. STB 5 Star Self Catering. Something must be right when
six out of ten guests return year after year. It's probably something to do
with the fact that Rickla has long been rated as 5 Star (and in the top five in
Scotland) by VisitScotland and was winner of the prestigious Thistle Award for
Customer Care in 2006. But it's also because, set in 50 acres of our own land
virtually in the centre of Orkney and only minutes from the ferry or airport,
the accommodation is the perfect base for exploring Orkney. Much of our 50
acres is given over to wildlife - owls, herons, curlews, skylarks, hen
harriers, bonxies, kestrels and the unique Orkney vole - while the World
Heritage Site boundary runs through our fields. With panoramic views over the
Ring of Brodgar, Harray Loch and the hills of Hoy, you can relax in secluded,
no-compromise luxury, in the heart of the country, miles from anywhere but so
close to everything. Rickla: Nothing comes close. Contact: Jacky Anderson.
